Refund Policy

 

Thinking of canceling your Yatra? Here’s what you need to know:

Cancellation Process:

  • Inform Punyakshetra in writing (email: inquiry@punyakshetras.com) signed by the canceling Yatri.
  • Cancellations are only effective when received during business days (Monday-Saturday).

Cancellation Charges:

  • Cancellation fees depend on when you notify us:
    • The closer to your departure date, the higher the fee.
    • Specific charges are outlined in the Punyakshetra Cancellation Policy.
  • Third-party services:
    • Helicopter/flight tickets: Refunds depend on the respective vendor’s policy.
    • Land package (excluding flight): Punyakshetra cancellation charges apply.

Reasons for Cancellation:

  • You can cancel for any reason, including illness, death, or document issues.

Mid-Yatra Cancellation:

  • No refunds for Yatras discontinued due to illness during the trip.
  • Punyakshetra will refund amounts recoverable from third-party vendors (e.g., helicopter).

Punyakshetra Cancellations:

  • We may cancel Yatras due to:
    • Insufficient bookings
    • Unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.)
  • You will receive a full refund (minus administrative charges) in Indian Rupees.
  • We Will Refund With In 7 To 14 Working Days
  • Punyakshetra is not responsible for flight/train ticket cancellation charges in these cases.

Rescheduling:

  • If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you can reschedule your Yatra for a future date.

Yatri Replacement:

  • Permissible for weekend and long Yatras with an additional charge.
  • You are responsible for cancellation fees for the original Yatri and any new flight ticket costs.

GST:

  • A 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) applies to cancellation charges.
