When Jupiter enters Vrishabha Rashi, we celebrate Narmada Pushkaralu for 12 days, once every 12 years. It is a religious festival in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India, to honor the sacred Narmada River mentioned in our scriptures. During the festival, everyone has the opportunity to take a holy bath in the river, offer prayers, and perform puja. This gathering is very meaningful and attracts millions of pilgrims to Ujjain. This River is one of the seven sacred rivers, believed to wash away our sins and bring good fortune to whoever takes a holy dip. It is deeply connected to the goddess Narmada, who is the daughter of Lord Shiva.
