Maha Char Dham is the holy pilgrimage of India which involves visiting four holy places in four directions – Badrinath at the North, Puri at the East, Rameshwaram at the South, and Dwarka at the West and is a cherished dream for all devotees to visit this holy Char Dham Yatra at least once in a lifetime. Each area of the Char Dham is adorned with numerous temples and religious monuments, each with its unique significance. For example, in Badrinath, the Badrinath Temple stands tall as a major attraction, dedicated to Lord Vishnu also known as Sri Badrinath. The Puri city, on the other hand, is home to the Lord Jagannatha Temple, where Lord Jagannatha is worshiped along with His brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra. Rameshwaram is home to the magnificent Rameshwaram temple, where Lord Shiva is worshiped as “Shivalinga” and is known as Sri Ramanathaswamy. Dwarka, the final destination of Char Dham Yatra is the Dwarka Dish temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, also known as Jagat Mandir.
