AboutPanduranga Vitthala Yatra
Panduranga Vittala is a manifestation of Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The temple is a fine example of the Deccan style of architecture and is dedicated to Lord Vittala and His consort Rukmini. It is located in Pandharpur, Maharashtra State, India. Seekers attracted by deep spirituality have always come. The Uniqueness is that everyone can touch the lotus feet of Lord Vittala and Mother Rukmini Devi. Pundalik, a reformed bandit, becomes a dedicated son through Bhakti Yoga on the pilgrimage. Pundalik’s single-minded devotion caught the eye of Lord Vittala, who decided to go to Him. The Yatra of Transformation and Devotion is an opportunity for people to connect with Lord Vittala, to ask for his blessings. It begins as always by dipping in the holy river Chandrabhaga.

By holding His waist with His hands, He seems to say that He is the one holding the flower cup for Brahma himself to reside in.
